Richmond Wine

Richmond is well known for its craft beer scene, but the local wine culture in Central Virginia doesn't always get the attention it deserves. Some of the best wine country in the eastern United States is a stone's throw from Richmond, and today, our real estate agents are excited to share some of their favorite Richmond-area wineries and vineyards. Stop by these local spots for a wine tasting and to savor wines from the Richmond area.

  • Garden Grove Brewing & Urban Winery - 3445 W Cary St, Richmond, VA 23221
Beer, wine, cider, and mead are all on the table at Garden Grove Brewery & Urban Winery. Located just minutes from these Richmond homes for sale, Garden Grove manages its own vineyard in the Blue Ridge Mountains, ensuring that every grape used to make their wine is of the utmost quality. Their warm, welcoming taproom on Cary Street offers beer flights as well as wine tastings, and they also provide a menu of tasty snacks that pair well with each beverage.

  • Brambly Park - 1708 Belleville St, Richmond, VA 23230
Brambly Park is a winery, but it's also much more than that. It's an urban oasis in the historic Scott's Addition neighborhood, one that includes indoor and outdoor dining areas, a live music and events venue, and a park-like landscape spanning 2 acres. Whether you want to sip a glass or two of their Virginia Chardonnay while you watch a live band or dine in your own private yurt, this unique destination has you covered.

  • C'est le Vin - 15 N 17th St, Richmond, VA 23219
Food, wine, and art all come together at C'est le Vin, an upscale art gallery and eatery in the heart of the Shockoe Bottom neighborhood. Serving tapas and a fantastic wine selection, this stylish spot offers a carefully curated selection of wines from all over the world, as well as tasty offerings like patatas bravas, marinated olives, and baked brie en crote.

  • Spring Run Vineyards - 10700 Spring Run Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832
Just south of Richmond in Chesterfield County lies Spring Run Vineyards, an endearing family-owned nano farm, and winery that makes small batches of hand-crafted wines. They only produce 250 to 300 cases every year, which makes each bottle all the more special. The winery is located near many Chesterfield homes for sale, and is open every Saturday throughout the wine season, as well as on select "Wine Down Wednesdays."

  • Once Upon a Vine - 4009 MacArthur Ave, Richmond, VA 23227
You'll find Richmond's best selections of wines from around the world at Once Upon a Vine. This locally-owned establishment has been recognized as one of the best wine and beer stores in Virginia by publications including Style Magazine and Virginia Living. They also host regular wine and beer tastings in the store.
